Salem Town-Wide Yard Sale

Do you have “treasures” in your garage, shed, basement, or attic that you don’t need anymore but can’t bear the thought of throwing it away? Now is your chance to eliminate that clutter, make a few bucks, and regain that space. Sign up with Salem’s Community Services Department for our third annual Salem Town-Wide Yard Sale.
Each Salem resident who signs up for the Town-Wide Yard Sale will host their own sale at their address. Once the Community Services Department has received all the names and addresses of the participants, we will advertise our Town-Wide Yard Sale through various media outlets to all potential shoppers. At the time of sign-up, the Community Services Department will ask you for a list of a few big-ticket items, such as a refrigerator, couch, etc., or if the majority of your items are children’s toys or clothing, etc. Prior to the event, we will provide a numbered map and a corresponding list of participants’ addresses, hours if different, as well as their big ticket items to potential shoppers.
Cost to participate: $10 for residents, $15 for home-based businesses such as Avon, Tupperware, etc. The registration fee covers yard signs, maps, address listing info, and a yard sale permit.
Payment: Checks should be made payable to the Town of Salem, NH. NO REFUNDS after May 28th.
