This years Easter Egg Hunt is in Partnership with Granite United Church, Faith & Blue - Salem,NH PD Chapter, Friends of Salem,NH Recreation and the Recreation Advisory Committee. 10AM-1PM at HEDGEHOG PARK on APRIL 12To allow for a more equitable event, we are allowing HANDICAP ONLY PARKING at Hedgehog Park, all other parking is at the Ice Center. This Event is Free & Open to the public for Elementary School & Below Aged Children and their families!Ages 0-5, Egg Hunt Start Time: 11AM - Your child must be checked in prior to participation, the event starts at 10am!Ages 6&Up, Egg Hunt Start Time: 11:30AM - Your child must be checked in prior to participation, the event starts at 10am!

8:45 AM - 10:15 AM    50th Annual Fishing Derby - Fishing Derby 8&Under
The 50th Annual Fishing Derby will be held at Hedgehog Park on May 3, 2025! This Year we are celebrating 50 Years of Fishing and 275 Years of Salem! This year we are allowing for pre-registrationThe event has different start times depending on the age group your child is in:8 Years Old and Under: Day-Of Registrants Arrival Time: 8:30AMPre-Registered Arrival Time: 8:45AMFishing: 9:30AM-10:15AM9 to 15 Years Old: Day-Of Registrants Arrival Time: 9:30AMPre-Registered Arrival Time: 10:00AMFishing: 10:20AM-11:20AMAwards will follow at the end of the derby for each age group. Prizes will be awarded to the smallest and the largest fish caught in each age group. Additionally, we will be awarding the overall winner of all age groups who catches the longest total fish!Only one prize per person will be awarded. However, other prizes will be raffled off, along with one participant from each age group being honored with the 'Chuck Black Most Spirited Fishing Award'. This event will take place rain or shine!There is No Fishing Allowed 24 Hours Prior to the Event
